"Sharia" means “the path” — but in practice, it’s a total legal-political-religious control system derived from:

The Qur’an (divine commands)
The Hadith (Muhammad’s words and actions)
Scholarly consensus and analogy (fiqh)

1. Apostasy = Death

Leave Islam? Die.

Qur’an 4:89 — “If they turn back, kill them wherever you find them.”
Hadith (Bukhari 9:84:57) — “Whoever changes his religion, kill him.”

Under Sharia, apostasy is not a private belief change. It’s a capital crime.

2. Blasphemy = Death

Criticize Muhammad? Die.
Question the Qur’an? Die.
Draw a cartoon? Die.

No room for free thought, free speech, or satire.
Sharia doesn’t just punish actions — it punishes ideas.

3. Women = Inferior Legal Status

Half the testimony in court (Qur’an 2:282)
Half the inheritance (Qur’an 4:11)
Male guardianship required

Homosexual acts are punishable by stoning, whipping, or execution.

Sharia doesn’t debate LGBT rights. It erases them.

5. Slavery Is Legal

The Qur’an regulates slavery — it does not ban it.
Sharia law permits slave ownership, sexual slavery of female captives, and inheritance of slaves.

Modern Muslims may squirm, but classical Sharia law preserves it proudly.

6. Corporal Punishment

Hand amputation for theft
Flogging for alcohol or zina
Stoning for adultery

This isn’t ancient history. These punishments are still practiced today — in countries governed by Sharia or Sharia-influenced codes.
